Increasing brand impact for TPS
TPS is the first trade operation to be owned and run by an automotive manufacturer: Volkswagen Group UK Limited. They have an extensive and comprehensive stock of Volkswagen Group parts as well as consumables suitable for most makes of vehicle.
TPS felt that their brand had lost its way, and were relying too much on stock imagery, weak copy and cluttered content and creative. They wanted to return to being an impactful and instantly recognisable brand, to re-establish their position as a market-leader. Our role was to focus on their current branding and create a new look and feel for TPS that would be aligned to their strong internal beliefs, and give them some creative direction to put them back on top of the market.
We created a new brand architecture, proposition and strapline, and helped to develop strong brand guidelines for rolling out future collateral. Our new logo design would work with all channels, and we created a number of Point of Sale items for the TPS Centres that were aligned to the internal and external values of the company.
The new branding was well-received, and we continued our support by rebranding TPS internal warehouses, offices and vans.
